'Thank you so much': Mobile shower service brings help to the homeless

Three showers in a converted transport van are helping homeless people.

A converted transport van is now helping homeless people get showers.

The service goes to people in Lodi and Stockton, California, with a vehicle that has three showers.

Called Showered with Love, the service was created by three women who met at church.

Mary Jarrard had the idea for years, but it wasn't until this spring that a donated bus underwent a retrofit.

"We're looking at ... between 40 and 60 showers a day once everybody gets to know us," she said.

Participants receive items such as socks as part of the outreach.
