Teenager helping children across the world with simple gift: shoes

One student's inspiring story is making a big difference, one pair of shoes at a time.

Chloe Christensen began to help other kids in a big way when she was 8.

She asked for help getting shoes for children in need across the world.

"If they don't have shoes, they can't go to school," the 14-year-old said. "They can get cuts that lead to bacteria and infection on their feet, and they may die from it."

She asked for shoes instead of birthday gifts and now works with a nonprofit, Soles4Souls.
