Teen climate change activist now getting the attention of presidential candidates

Young people are leading the fight to raise awareness about climate change. A Gallup poll revealed 70-percent of Americans aged 18 – 34 worry about global warming. One of those young people includes 14-year-old Alexandra Villaseñor. She’s a climate change activist who has camped outside of the United Nations in New York City, asking leaders to help make changes for the future.

As part of our climate change series of reporting, "Earth: We're on it", Soledad introduces you to Alexandria Villaseñor. She has become a leader in the movement to fight climate change and she's only 14. It started with her weekly protests outside the United Nations that have now even caught the attention of some of the Democratic presidential candidates.
