Stage 4 cancer patient, living in 'deplorable conditions,' granted final wish to die at home

A team of hospice care workers did what they could to make a cancer patient's final days at home a bit easier.

With help from this hospice care team, Thomas Seymore was able to live out his final days more comfortably. Seymore was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that spread and he had mere days to live. So a team came to his home to help clean, as the conditions were anything but comfortable.

With no living family, Seymore wanted to pass at home, with his dog Smoke at his side.

The team did what they could to make Seymore’s final days a bit easier, and he passed away just days later, on June 19, 2020.
