Baltimore recording studio offers outlet, healing for young people

Ms. Keipa is committed to providing a healthy outlet for young adults by helping them create their own music.

Ms. Keipa recognizes how important it is for young people to have an outlet for them to express themselves.

"I'm trying to reach out to the community, work with the community hands-on," she said. "You can hear in their music they are crying out for help."

As the owner of Layor Tracks, she provides low-cost studio recording time so that they can produce their own music. As an artist herself, she also provides advice on how to get noticed on social media.

"It's not about the money. It's about time and having that time to talk to them and communicate with them about what's wrong," Ms. Keipa said.
