During his first college experience, Clayton Ward wasn’t the best student. When he got a job as a bus driver and drove 200 students a day, it taught him something about himself. His patience led to conversations with kids, who gave him some career advice: become a teacher.
Despite the pandemic, Ward is graduating with a 4.0 GPA and is a top student in his class. Ward plans to continue his education to one day become a history teacher and hopes others can learn from his story.
