Seven-year-old's ukulele skills raise thousands of dollars for front-line workers

Lilyana Roman may only be seven years old, but that didn’t stop her from wanting to help front-line workers during the coronavirus outbreak.

So she decided to raise money by playing her ukulele in her driveway for neighbors.

"I thought people would need this money to help them, and the virus is a thing they were worried about," Lilyana said.

What started off as a small fundraiser got a lot of support from her neighborhood. In the end, Lilyana was able to raise $4,000 and gave her donation to the workers at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire.
