Seniors at a Nevada assisted living facility are receiving dozens of letters a day, and all it took was a Facebook post.
New pen pals are a welcome surprise for residents at Carson Valley Senior Living, since senior care residents across the country are more isolated and alone now during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Employees snapped photos of residents who wished to participate in a pen pal program and posted a little bit about them on Facebook. Then letters and packages from across the country started to filter in.
