The Meatball Stoppe’s meatballs are so famous, they were once featured on the Food Network.
Now, they hope to specialize in something else: providing those living with dementia a place to dine out.
"I want them to know that we’ve walked in those shoes," owner Isabella Morgia Di Vicari said.
For years, Di Vicari watched her grandmother and aunt suffer from Alzheimer’s. Her plan is to offer a special dining opportunity to people with dementia every Thursday.
"We want to offer the community a place of comfort, a place of no judgment," Di Vicari said. "I want them to not have to worry about anything. I want them to come and relax."
