Pennsylvania Second Lady Gisele Fetterman was verbally assaulted and called a racial slur at a grocery store over the weekend.

Fetterman, wife of Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, said she went to an Aldi store in Forest Hills, just outside Pittsburgh, and first encountered the woman in the parking lot.

"She recognized me and said, 'There's that N-word who Fetterman married,'" she told sister station WTAE. "It just continued with 'You don't belong here, you're a thief.'"

Fetterman said the words continued inside the store when the woman spotted Fetterman again, so she grabbed her fruit and left. Fetterman captured their last encounter outside and posted it on her Twitter account Sunday.
