Nonprofit helps Massachusetts family in time of need

"That feeling when somebody helps you without any motive behind it, you feel so nice that still in this world there are people like this."


Going for a walk is a favorite activity for the Mathur family. But it wasn't long ago that mom, Pooja, had trouble just being on her feet after she was diagnosed with State 4 neuroendocrine cancer last year.

Fortunately, the Mathurs were able to find help through the nonprofit Neighbor Brigade, which helps connect a network of over 3,500 volunteers to neighbors in need.
