One observer at the Mount Washington Observatory in New Hampshire found a spot away from the 65 mph winds for a meal of leftover pasta but was not able to take one bite before completely freezing in the 30-below air temperature.

The fork was suspended in the air in between the frozen noodles on what could be one of the coldest days of the winter.
