Man who rushed into fiery home trying to save neighbor returns home after 9-month hospital stay

It's an incredible homecoming for an incredible hero: Pierre Gibbons has been in the hospital since last September when he attempted to save his neighbor, Mary Sterling, from a house fire. At first, Mary made it out safely but went back to get her pets, and both succumbed to the fire and smoke and were rescued by firefighters.

Mary died a month later, and Pierre suffered burns to 80% of his body and was in a coma for two months. While in the hospital, his family got his home ready so he can continue his therapy there. Watch his joyous homecoming in the video above.
