There are three things you should know about Dennis Bosch.
He loves his wife, Judy, he loves surprises and he loves love.
"We're feeling the love. It's very different than (in) 1969. That was the summer of love. This is the summer of love," he said.
In the summer of 1969, the newlyweds moved to Vermont from Ohio after their honeymoon.
He eventually opened a jewelry store, which has grown and transformed along with them over the years.
But, as the saying goes, some things never change.
"(Dennis is) very romantic and always full of surprises," said Judy.
Her biggest surprise came in 1994.
"I thought, what a good way to surprise Judy," said Dennis.
On their 25th wedding anniversary, Judy got another jewel.
"I had no clue," said Judy.
Dennis gifted her a personalized public bench.
The plaque on it reads, "Happy anniversary Judy B. May we sit here June 20, 2019. Love, Dennis."
On their 50th wedding anniversary, they lived up to their promise.
"It feels great, you know, just to be alive and well enough," Dennis said.
That's their goal for their 75th anniversary.
"I hope we can still get around and maybe come back and share this again," said Judy.
Dennis has committed to loving and surprising his wife, Judy, as long as they both shall live.
