The Children's Mercy hospital neonatal intensive care unit had quite the staffing issue on their hand: 36 of its nurses were pregnant around the same time as one another. The nurses say the experience, especially while raising newborns during the pandemic brought them closer as friends and coworkers and made them better nurses.
