Four chocolate Labrador puppies are being trained to become service dogs for veterans thanks to a partnership between inmates from the Merrimack County Jail in Boscawen, New Hampshire, and a nonprofit organization. The nonprofit, called Hero Pups, takes in shelter and rescue dogs that show potential. Then, it trains them to provide services for veterans and first responders who need them.
