A middle school science teacher in Nebraska is generating some buzz after being diagnosed with breast cancer in December.
Jenny Maddock decided to have students raise money and collect bottles and diapers for an Omaha emergency shelter for women and families called Lydia House.
Students who raised the most money got to use the buzzer and clip away at Maddock's hair during an assembly full of laughter and cheers.
"I just figured if I had to cut it anyway, I might as well make it fun," she said.
