'I know that I have to help': Girl runs half marathons, raises money for drinking water for people in Africa

"I know that every kid deserves to have clean water," she says.

Addyson Moffitt, 10, has used her ability to run half marathons and raise awareness for a big cause.

She's been raising money for a charity called World Vision to provide clean water for people in Africa.

"It’s not fair for me to have clean water but for kids in Africa to not, so I know that I have to help them," she says.

Recently, she beat her goal to get $60,000 in donations.

But she knows her work isn’t over.

"It was, like, 'OK, let's keep going, let's keep going, let's keep going.' Shayla Moffitt, Addyson’s mother, said. "Ultimately, there's no finish line until every kid has clean water."
