Hometown Tragedy: The murders of Christy Mirack and Genevieve Zitricki

The killer of a young school teacher was identified after two decades. Four separate crimes, across three states, solved after 30 years. Thanks to DNA technology, these cases are no longer unsolved.

Three murders and one rape case — across three states — went unsolved for decades. Until a link between them was revealed. Genevieve "Jenny" Zitricki, Sherri Scherer and her 12-year-old daughter Megan were murdered by an unknown assailant. A third, unnamed woman was assaulted by the same person.
