An ardent fan who had the honor of throwing the first pitch of the 2020 MLB season now has a baseball card of his feat.

The unique card features Dr. Anthony Fauci, an infectious disease expert who has become one of the faces of the U.S. response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Topps is selling the card for $9.99 in a narrow 24-hour window that began Friday. The card honors Fauci as a player for the Washington Nationals.

Fauci, who has frequently shown his support for the 2019 World Series champs, donned a Nats face mask for the throw of the ceremonial first pitch.

He was invited by the Nationals, and Fauci sent his toss well wide of home plate: The ball bounced past his “catcher,” Sean Doolittle.

Afterward, Fauci and Doolittle tapped gloves.
