Food truck offers free, healthy meals to kids during summer

These kids won't have to worry about where their lunch is coming from during the summer.

When school lets out for the summer, a lot of kids dependent on school lunch plans wonder where their next lunch will come from. Fortunately, one special food truck is helping them answer that question.

Kid's Cruisin' Kitchen, run by Omaha, Nebraska's Salvation Army and the Food Bank for the Heartland, is giving local kids free lunches throughout the summer. The truck plans to travel to 15 kid-friendly locations to hand out fresh and healthy meals to every child in need.

Families, especially those struggling financially, are saying the food truck is a saving grace.
