Female volunteers build Habitat for Humanity homes for low-income families

These Habitat homes are being built with a feminine touch.

Habitat for Humanity hosted a weeklong event inviting women to spend at least one day volunteering to help with the construction of a home for a low-income family.

National Women Build Week, held the week leading up to Mother's Day, gives women a chance to make a positive change in their communities while learning important construction skills. It also highlights the importance women have in volunteer work and encourages them to make a difference.
