This week marks National Police Week in the U.S.

The wife and daughter of an officer who was gunned down in Kansas last week are speaking out about how they hope he's remembered, and what the community's support has meant to them in this difficult time.

Officer Mike Mosher's wife, Corinne, and daughter, Tyler, sat down with our sister station KMBC in Kansas City.

Mosher, who was with the Overland Park Police Department for nearly 15 years, died while exchanging gunfire with 38-year-old man after a hit-and-run accident on May 3.
