The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs says face coverings must be worn at all of its facilities by anyone entering the building.

The VA said face coverings or masks are required for all patients, families, staff, and volunteers.

The VA recommends that people entering its buildings should bring their own face covering, such as a cloth mask or scarf.

Anyone in need of a face covering should ask a staff member and one will be provided. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers helpful guides on making suitable masks at home for personal use.
