There's a new TikTok challenge that experts are warning is quite dangerous. It's called "dry scooping."

It involves ingesting pre-workout powder with no liquid. Typically, the powders are supposed to be diluted with water.

A 20-year-old says she had a heart attack and had to go to a hospital after taking the so-called challenge. Experts advise people not to do it.

"So they're getting a large portion of caffeine in one sitting," Dr. Harish Manyam, chief of cardiology at Erlanger Health System, told WTVC. "When you do that, it increases the blood pressure substantially."
