It’s not a bird. It’s not a plane. It’s Super Nicholas.

Nicholas Corapi, 10, has been battling kidney failure since he was born. He had one removed when was a year old. His other kidney is in stage-4 failure, requiring dialysis three times a week.

Now, the kid known as "Super Nicholas" is waiting for a kidney to become available to him, and his classmates at Hopedale Memorial Elementary School are pitching in with a huge amount of love, and a few dollars.

"They’re so wonderful here," Nicholas' mother, Kim Corapi, said. "It’s like another family. They’re very supportive and they love him probably just as much as we do."
