Fans of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will sadly not be able to enjoy the event this year. Walt Disney World has canceled the Halloween event, saying the stage shows, parades and fireworks will not be able to take place in the new environment.

Disney also announced the cancellation of H20 Glow Nights, the nighttime events at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

Guests who already purchased tickets will be refunded over the upcoming weeks.

As for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Festival of Holidays, Disney announced they will be monitoring the environment and make a decision in the future.

Though some of the events are disappearing this year due to the coronavirus, Disney did announce they will be doing a whole new food festival.

Disney describes A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival as a mix of their Flower & Garden Festival as well as Food & Wine. The festival will debut on July 15 and continue through the fall, with global marketplaces spaced out throughout the park.

With social distancing, Disney will not host the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, though there will be music from local EPCOT entertainment.
