Bindi Irwin and her husband, Chandler Powell, announced Friday they have welcomed their first child, daughter Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.

In a heartwarming Instagram post, Irwin announced her daughter arrived on her and Powell's one year wedding anniversary.

"Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter," Irwin wrote. "Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light."

The daughter of the beloved "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin and his wife, Terri, revealed the name has ties to both her and Powell's family history.

"Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior."

Irwin, an Emmy-winning TV personality and conservationist, married Powell during a small ceremony at the Australia Zoo last year.

"There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl," Irwin writes. "She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed."
