Eighteen-year-old Caleb Haven’s one goal growing up was to be a police officer. But a sudden cancer diagnosis has put his lifelong dream in jeopardy.
"I wish that it wasn't happening, but I'm going through it OK," Haven said.
In May 2019, Haven was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain tumor that cannot be removed. He now has three tumors on his brain and one on his back.
Despite the grim prognosis, Haven and his family are trying to maintain a positive outlook. He's been staying busy since his diagnosis, spending plenty of time at the police station.
He's also hoping to take a trip to Hawaii with his family.
"We don't know how much time we have, and we just have to make the most of it," said Haven's mother, Naomi Sadler.
