A celebratory ride by a motorcycle group stopped when a vehicle crossed the center stripe.

Three people died and nine people were taken to the hospital in critical condition after a crash in Texas, the Kerr County Sheriff's Office said.

The Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club was on a ride in celebration of the club's birthday when another motorist crossed the center stripe, authorities said.

A person who allegedly crossed the center stripe has been arrested on counts of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxication assault, the Sheriff's Office said Saturday.

It happened near San Antonio when the group was on a ride on Highway 16 south of Kerrville.
